  • The New England Ball Project finding was downgraded to 'unconfirmed' because the page was unreachable and the claim rests only on search-result snippets; it could not be read directly to verify it refers to this family. A successful fetch of newenglandballproject.com/g2/p2201.htm would settle this.
  • No independent public source was found for the parents Iver Paulsen (1853-1931) and Maude Irene Wright (1869-1935); the Find a Grave memorial does not list parents. A Find a Grave / FamilySearch record for Iver Paulsen or Maude Wright could confirm the parentage.
  • The marriage date/place (31 Dec 1919, Flint, Michigan) rests only on the family report; a Genesee County or Michigan marriage record was not located and would confirm it.
  • Whether the report's 'Lynn Paulson (1921)' is the same individual as Find a Grave's 'Baby Boy Paulson (1921-1921)', or a distinct child, remains unresolved.
  • No obituary or newspaper record was located to corroborate his occupations (Buick tool and die foreman, gas station, Hubbard Hardware Company), Free Mason membership, the 1938 back injury, or the moves to Tempe, Arizona (1961) and Silver Spring, Maryland (1970). These rest solely on the family report.
  • Ancestry-linked census records (1930, 1940, 1950), a Wisconsin Births and Christenings Index entry, and a Wisconsin State Census entry are referenced on the Find a Grave page but were behind a paywall and not examined; these could further document residences and his Wisconsin birth.
