By the late 1840s the family was living in Michigan, where they also appear together in the 1850 U.S. Census. The Goff maiden name is NOT shown on FamilySearch (which displays only the married surname Nott) and rests solely on the 2006 family report. No death, burial, or maiden-name-bearing record for Mary herself was located.
