Sources spell the father's middle name 'Harvey' (both the Kalloch GEDCOM and FamilySearch) rather than 'Hovey' as in the report, and FamilySearch gives his birth year as 1840 rather than 1838. The death year 1926 agrees. 'Hovey' vs 'Harvey' is most likely a transcription variant of the same person; the 1838 vs 1840 birth-year difference is minor. This does not affect identification of James Leon Wright, whose identity is fixed by exact birth date (1885-02-05) plus both parents.
